· Environmental engineering, specializing in air pollution, complete
environmental assessments including dispersion modeling, environmental
monitoring and environmental impact studies.

Professional Experience
· Shell Engineering & Associates, Inc., Columbia, Mo. Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer, directly involved in all areas of consulting
engineering performed by the company, employ and supervise staff in
performing about 100 projects each year, 1975 to present.
· Missouri Air Conservation
Commission, Jefferson City, Mo. Developed the State Air Pollution
Control Program from its very beginning, including the promulgation and
enforcement of regulations; the hiring of staff, the establishment of a
laboratory and air monitoring network, the development of agency policy,
and the procurement and management of funds. Balanced the needs of
citizen groups, industrial interests, and legislative requirements into
a viable, practical program. 1967-1975 (became Agency Director in 1969).

Chemical Company (now Pennwalt), Project and Process Engineering,
Process Supervision in hydrofluoric acid and sodium chlorate plants,
Calvert City, Ky., 1960-1966.
· Mallinckrodt Chemical Company,
